My advice is still to cancel if rather than going to stay at rui bachata, it still remains overall a terrible hotel, (did i mention one night the ceiling collapsed in one of the bars.... down came ceiling fans & lights!) but as Howarthz asked me for positives, i tried very hard to put the awful hotel, pool and rude staff to one side and write about the nice things... ie the fish, waves and palm trees. I hope you have a lovely holiday Howarthz. We have just booked for Rio de Janerio in October, so fingers crossed we have a better hotel experieince....
Kind regards

Hi
Just to let everyone know, just arrived back from Riu Bachata, and had a wonderful time.
It was one of the best holidays we have ever had.
Enjoyed it that much we have decided to go back and get married in 2010.
