| please can some one tell what the weather is like in the day there and also if it gets cold in the evenings,

| daytime till 30 Celcius, nightime minimum around 21 Celcius
when it rains?? nobody can tell you but surely a few time per week

| We have been to the Dominican over the last few years in March/April time and what you have to consider is that it is their winter period?
The weather has always been great as long as you don't mind the odd downpour and each time we have been there the trend seems to be that you have sunshine most of the day and rainfall early evening.
Whatever you do do not look at an internet/Met Office weather report for this time of year as I did this before we went last time and I promptly bought travel monopoly and didn't dare tell the wife what the report said.
However, when we got there it was exactly as I described above and generally great weather!
