Ive have a holiday booked to this hotel since about April/May this year. I travel there this Sunday 21st Sept.I went into Thomas Cook on Sunday 14th Sept (only 1 week til hols) only to be told that they had been trying to contact me as they received a letter on the 10th Sept saying that they have closed this hotel down for re-furbishment and they had automatically moved us to their sister hotel the Mexicana Grand Sharm. I have been to Egypt twice before and feel that this hotel is unsuitable. They have since moved me to the Sharm Inn Amarein hotel which looks nice but I feel that this isn't good enough as we were meeting friends in the Creative Grand Sharm and have now been separated to different hotels. Does anyone else think this is unfair treatment and does anyone know whether I have reassonable cause to complain? I don't want to go in all guns blazing if this is supposed to be adaquit compensation.
Can anyone advise me on the best course of action to take with Thomas Cook?
