| Hi just writing to sing the praises of Canal Voyagers, they are a young couple just going into their second year of running a pair of narrow boats, it works similar to a hotel, all your food is included, rooms sorted for you and you visit a new area every day..wonderful. They travel around lots of different parts of middle england. The food is first class and the scenery varys from historic to serene, industrial to beautiful. You can get out and walk along the tow path or visit a nearby town then rejoin the boat later in the day, it moves along so slowly. Please visit their website canalvoyagers.com for their itinery. I had a lovely time, very relaxing.

| And a massive welcome to you Librarian!
Hope you enjoy the forums and all the info you can get from them. There's a good crowd on here and most are quite friendly...hehe.
Just our of interest my sister and her husband ran pair of hotel boats for 15 years and really enjoyed the life style. They lived all year round on them and did find the winters a bit cold!!
