absolutely shocking. DO NOT GO HERE . we paid alot of money to stay here and the place was full of others who had gotten in for under £5 per night on a newspaper promotion. most of these people we met were very nice.
the site however is shockingly bad.
the horror starts before even getting there as the road to the campsite is badly pot holed and contains 5 or 6 huge speed bumps that each and every 1(nomatter how slowly you approach) scraped the underside/exaust of our fully loaded car. every single time !! by the last day i was sick of that road !!
the outdoor swimming pool has a sign up saying 10am-1pm and 2pm - 4pm however we got there 5mins early and waited like idiots on a couple of occasions only to find out it was now ''shut till next summer'' great.. really glad i kept promising my son about all the swimming we could do on our hol!!
also they boast about family evening entertainment and the glossy brochure would lead you to believe that there was a varied selection of reasonable entertainment. IN FACT what you get is ''richard'' he is a complete idiot and has no idea of what families enjoy doing of a nite time.
1st nite there his family entertainment comprised of 3 hoola hoops for the kids and the football on the TV for every1 else !! lol shocking.
2nd nite he done cash bingo which lasted under ten mins (and he craftilly pockets some of the prize money) followed by a quarter hour quiz for some crappy prize. other than this half hour of ''dodgy'' entertainment he quickly reverts back to dossing round the bar area and sticking the football back on the big screen TV.
3rd and 4th nite we went elsewere for the evening but were told it didnt get any better!
reception was hardly ever open and when i did catch them in i complained about the misleading swimming pool sign i was told it would be sorted. however on departure 2 days later the swimming sign still read the same lies as they knew it would not be open.. i mean how hard is it to get some chalk and go and write ''shut till next summer''.
basically its a really bad site, over the recent years/months i have visited much of cornwall and devon and this is the 1st time i have ever felt the need to complain..
BUDE HOLIDAY PARK.....STAY AWAY..ITS REALLY NAFF AND CHEAP.

We have been offered Cranstars site at Bude as compensation for the awful holiday we had this year at the Trevelgue site in Newquay. Seems like Bude is not much better makes me think that I should just turn it down and try for my money back.

Sorry to hear about your experiences, it quite sad that companies still treat people bad and put no effort into there parks.
