They do indeed, I did all my courting in and around Devon, my husband was in the Navy.

I was bought up in Devon and can remember spending time going on the train from Teignmouth to Paignton. Had a sister who lived in torqay and my parents have now moved back. Go near to Buckfast on the way down there. i can remember spending time on the beach in Teignmouth and wading out to sea, to see how fat towards the Ness you could go. There was a bridge which led from Teignmouth to Shaldon which half way across was wodden slats which meant you could see all the way down to the sea, I still have nightmares about this. Grandparents lived for a while in Exmouth so all of the above have fond memories. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, what is the conection for you?

Hi Davvo

Used to live in Buckfastleigh, worked in Dartington and sang in folk clubs in Ashburton, Brixham and Totnes. What do you need to know?

I've lived in Sheffield for 30 odd years , but i'm a devonian born in Totnes where my brother still lives- infact were going down on the 11th june for a few days, Buckfastleigh-- my first girlfriend anna came from there , Dartington is a beautiful little village the shop was run by the Guy family-- i do miss devon but i try to go down every year--- meet up with some old mates and have a few beers in the Kingbill pub.
