hi alan, its two years since we were there at the sun palace, we had a great time, there were six of us in our party, ages ranged from 2 in their 50's,2 in their 30's,and 2 children 4 & 1,there was something for us all to keep us entertained,e.g kids clubs, entertainment every night, daily games darts, bowls, football ,water polo etc, and good old bingo.
the hotel was very clean, the food was very good too, it's in a quiter spot in faliraki, and is not far from the water park which is well worth a visit, but dont book with the reps, we used the sophie's travel across the road, and they were very nice people, who took us to the water park, and to the boat to go to lindos, all in all a great holiday

Hi,

I worked in Falaraki in 2002. The sun palace is a very nice hotel at the quiet end of Falaraki, away from the noisy clubs. There are some very nice restaurants and bars nearby. Try Mikes Place (A bar run by a very nice greek family) The hotel is near a bus stop and about 10 minutes walk from the beach. Unlike a lot of hotels in Rhodes some of the rooms in this hotel have baths and showers.

Hope this info is helpful :occasion1

:thumleft: i have just come back from sun palace 20-10-05 and it was nice freindly nice staff good entertainment team , near everything, make sure you are actually staying in the hotel, they have rooms across the road which means you have to cross the road to get your breakfast etc, and to use pool {some young ones who had to come over got fed up} book trips across the road or in rhodes town they will be so much cheaper, we went to simmi it was nice but you dont get much time on the island 2 hours not what they say [3.5] spent more time on ferry wasted a day sunbathing!, it was clean nice bars mikeys is good! top end want more money for drinks and prezzies,go to the castle in rhodes lots of shops inside wear flat shoes, have a good time, if i can help anymore just ask
