Hong Kong spending money

Far East

I will be visiting Hong Kong later this month for a couple of days, just a stop of for onward travel. So I was wondering what the prices are like there and how much currency I will need.

Need to get from airport to Kowloon and back again.

Meals per day, breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Drinks - say 5 per night.

A bit of sight seeing.

How much per person do you think?

Thanks.

Just got back from hong Kong - prices really good however allcohol is expensive around 4.00 for a bottle of lager and the same for a vodka and coke. A taxi from the airport will cost about 20 . can get the train which is about 4.00 then star ferry across Getting around is really cheap - taxi for the first 2 miles a 1 and then 20p a mile after that ,. star ferry does from hong kong island to kowloon every 5 mins cost 30p. tram to the top of the mountaind costs around 2 not to be missed . Dinner in hard rock for a decent steak and beer 20 again can be done cheaper in the many bars and restaurants around . Ferry to see the big buddah cost 2 then a cost to the the temple cost 2
