Hi George, stayed there last June. a quiet time. absolutely fabulous place, very relaxed, great weather, our room was great. overlooking the beach but surrounded by trees, the noise in the evening from the insects is unbelievable, so very tropical. also watch out for iguanas in the swimming pool and down the main street! (I kid you, not). hotel food is nice but expensive, so eat out in the village for peanuts. we didn't have a bad meal. Had trouble finding insect repellant, so best take it with you, tropical formula is good for me. Also don't miss out on a thai massage on the beach for about 2.You will have a fab time.Linda
