Hello!
I am really worried now after reading all your posts! I am a nervous flyer at the best of times, i actually accept the fact that the plane i am on is going to crash everytime i get on one!! But this time is the worse yet.
We are booked to go to turkey at the end of this month with onur air taking us and i am scared stiff now! has anyone had a good flight with them? or am i dooomed ?? Can you get a holiday cancelled and refunded just because you are scared to fly? i know it sounds silly but i really am that scared!! I usually only use first choice but we booked with friends this time and with money being tight this is what weve got!
Any advice would be fantastic!!
Thank you xx

Hello,
Onur Air have had quite a good season in the UK this year, yeah they will have delays but nothing worse than the other carriers. They use to have a terrible record for timekeeping but they seem to have improved themselves.
Even if you flew BA/Virgin etc, they all have their moments. Onur Air are a cheap and cheerful airline, no inflight meals, no entertainment just bog standed sit down and off you go, just like an easyjet except onur air allocate you a seat number.
Please don't be put off by all the reviews, look at it this way, think of the amount of flights they do to the uk (15 + a week, min of 3000 passengers a week) and then look at the bad reviews, a minority really.
As for cancelling, you prob can cancel but they will charge you a cancellation fee as there is nothing to say that the airline doesn't abide by the stict regulations that are set by the aviation authoritys.
Cheers
