We flew from Liverpool's John Lennon airport with Ryanair. Firstly the airport was filthy, ok it was early morning 5.30am when we arrived, but everywhere was filthy even the toilets. The flight with Ryanair was no better, because it low cost airlines they ask you to take off your rubbish when you leave because there is a quick change around. But we found lots of rubbish on our seats, the walls of the plane was dirty too.
Never again.

Lats month we flew to Alicante on Monarch airlines. What a difference from Ryanair, this was great, sopt on time. Clean and tidy planes, great food. I couldn't fault it. I'd fly with them any time.

i see what u mean, monarch seem to be quite a good company, even though we were on one of thier older planes at the time, a 767

(still in the old livery of yellow and black)

They seemed very professional and the food wasnt bad either!

I flew with Swiss Air when I went skiing this year. I checked in online and just dropped my baggage at Manchester airport no queues and soooooo quick. The seats were comfortable and plenty of leg room. On arriving at Zurich airport it was easy to access the train at the airport and had a very smooth journey onward to Grindelwald. Again no queue to speak of checking in for the homward journey in Zurich airport and the fastest through security I have ever been-absolutely no queue.

Down side was the length of time it took for the baggage to appear after flights both ways-some of that due to "skis" baggage.

Glad you had a good seat pitch I would like to go toorlando this year
but the thought of sitting for 9hrs with 30"pitch has put me off. but I have heard there are seats to be had of up to 38" does anyone know
is it worth it, and what airlines are best. I now I am fussy but I want to go from manchester, as I will not fly from any london airport

Thank you
