FLight Ticket Error - Travel Agents Fault

Hi all

I have a flight ticket from Thomas Cook for my daughter (aged 10) However on the ticket it has the tick box "ticked" saying she is an adult (over 12). Her name is spelt correctly and on contacting the travel agents they have her on their system as aged 10 and say their "shouldn't" be a problem boarding ............... im a mistrustful Yorkshireman so would appreciate any comments on if im going to have a problem or not .......... fly in 2 weeks

I suppse if you look at this way at least her true age is on her passport so you can explain about the misprint, but don't take my word for it!

I booked a flight with Cyprus Airways via the internet, but, because our grandson is only a baby I had to book his flight by telephone.
All the tickets were e-tickets, when I printed them off, I noticed they had put our gandson down as Miss instead of Master, the fact that on his passport would show master I did'nt take any chances, phoned Cyprus airways and they changed it to Master.

I would'nt take any chances, go back to Thomas Cook and have it changed, after all it's their mistake.

Too be honest I dont think this a major problem , I know of plenty of people who book their kids as adults on package hols ang get flight tickets as though they are adults. It would be a problem if you booked an adult as a child but not the child as an adult.

Steve,

I think this is quite usual . My daughter is 12 and her ticket also had the adult box ticked. We had no problem when we flew
