| Has anyone flown with Thomas Cook and got a free upgrade on the flights, if so how on earth did you manage it?

| Yeah but only because im crew. Hehe.
More often than not all premium is fully booked on long haul and if any seats are free its very very difficult to get a 'free upgrade'. Your only hope really is that all economy is overbooked and you've paid a higher price so you may get bumped. Thats how it works with BA anyway..unless of course you have a lot of BA miles.

| Thanks for your reply John. Dont suppose you want to come to Cuba with me and my friend so that we can all be upgraded!!!
I really thought because we complained re our 11 hour delay with them last year and getting the wrong room etc they would just do it for us.
I am so going to Devon next year!!!

| free upgrades, you'll be lucky, if anything they will probably try and sell the upgrade seats on the day at the airport if there is any. alot of charter companies do that for any unsold premium seats but very very rarely would you get bumped up there for free. i expect the customers who have paid for extra legroom seats (exit seats) will prob be the first to get upgraded.
past problems count for nothing these days unfortunately
