I recently read a low cost airline will be starting low cost flights to Tenerife next year but can't remember who the airline is and when it starts. Has anyone else read about this or knows further details because I want to go over there in January to visit my daughter.

Hi Hils,
I've moved your post here....I'm not sure this is the correct place either, however, it might get more of a look here.
It will prob be moved to Airline Forum later....

Am flying with Jet2 to Portugal next month. We return 27th August. The young uns passport expires in October. Have checked the website and it states as long as the passport meets immagration needs it should be ok. As portugal is in the eu your passport only needs to be valid for the duration of the trip. I decided to ring there customer services, to my horro i got through to a call centre in India, i asked the question and was told the passport HAD to be valid for 3 months, i explained eu regislation but obviously she was reading from a script. I now have less than 2 weeks and am concerned with sending off the passport at such a late date. HAs anyone used jet 2 to europe with a passport with less than 3 months on or am i stuck.
Thanks
Mark
