| Hi Chrissey,
Your only allowed one piece of hand luggage, that was back in October, don't think it has changed since then. I do take my handbag then put it in my hand luggage to go through security. No liquids over 100ml. All small bottles of liquid have to go in a clear plastic bag. To be on the safe side I don't carry any liquids, I put them in my suitcase.
Not long now Chrissey :)

| Yes, that's right, they have relaxed the rules slighlty, but the liquids are still limited.

| Not sure where you got your info from, but the one bag rule has always been effective. It was only stopped for a couple of months years ago.

| Hi all
Thanks for replying on that... I would hate to cause any more disturbance at the airport... I already set the alarms off every year must be the metal I swallowed at a young age.... lol.......
Just want to make sure I dont over load myself..... as long as I got my passport and my money in my bag it dont matter about anything else really that can go in the case.... I will just buy a drink when I get through.... none alcoholic of course.......
11 weeks and 1 day exactly..... but hey who is counting....... Has anyone been to Tasis Maris this year - can they let me know what they thought of it........

| All the years I have been travelling abroad I have always taken my handbag + hand luggage, last year was the first time ever I was asked to put my handbag in my hand luggage to go on the conveyor belt, security screen. This was at Birmingham Airport last June, and Bristol last October. I presume if both together only weight 5kg then there's no problem.

| The one piece of hand luggage rule has been relaxed at some airports, but some airlines do still say only one piece of hand luggage.

| Is there any restriction on carrying glass in the cabin baggage? Flying from Blackpool with Ryanair and have found all the info about liquids but nothing about glass.
Cheers

| Recently flew with First Choice to Cancun, no probs at Gatwick as we only had one flight bag and I just had my handbag. Coming back, the girl on the checkout at Cancun insisted we put the flight bag on the scales along with the suitcases. Luckily we were still under the limit and not all of the checkout operators were doing this, it's just the luck of the draw.

| sorry to be a pain, if the glass bottles are less than 100ml (ie perfume) is it ok for them to be full? or is it better to put it in the hold?
Thanks again

| Sun tan lotion and creams and perfume bottles were been taken off passengers last week to Thesalonki. BUT it amazes me the size of the hand luggages they bring on the flight some are suitcases that would hold a weeks clothing. One flight I was on in February from the Caribean to Manchester had a family of asians with a large hand luggage each, now one opend up while crossing the tarmack to the entrance of desintation and woo!!! it was full of Indian cotton clothes t/shirts etc; all in plastic packets. How do they get away with it.
