I booked our holiday to kos in november - flights offered were 19:30 departure but if we all paid 50 xtra we could have a flight that left at 13:30 then got us back to manchester at 23:00 hrs. my husband could then still go to work the next day. With a 3 and 9 year old i decided it was worth it to get there and back home at reasonable times.
At the end of april thomas cook had reduced the 2 flight options to one -now we arrive in kos at 23:00 hrs and don't leave kos until 00:15 hrs
i.e arrive manchester 4.5 hrs later.
tc are refusing to refund the xtra premium we paid for "civilised" flights claiming flight changes are warned of in the terms of conditions" .
I can't help thinking tc must have known they could only fill one flight ( after all how long have they been flying to kos??) but duped people into thinking there were options just to get the extra money. IF so then it's a con.
Has anyone else been conned like this ?- if so please please please complain to ABTA quoting a reference "Thomas Cook Flight Changes after pocketing extra Premiums".
Also if anyone can confirm that there's only ever one flight a day out to k|os from manchester ( i.e last year) please let me know at
