Florida Hurricane Warning!

A state of emergency has been issued for the state of Florida.

Hurricane Fay has left a path of devistation across the Dominican Republic and it's now on its way to Florida. I know we have a few HW Members (HW Bex and Justine Parker plus others) over there at the moment and my thoughts are with them.

The lastest information issued by the National Hurricane Center (American) is that it will track up the west coast of Florida Monday/Tuesday with surface wind speeds of about 70/80mph.

Hope you guys have battened down the hatches!

its still being classed as a tropical storm at the moment, so lets hope it doesnt reach hurricane level when it hits Florida, expected Monday/Tuesday. I have tx,d Bex just to be sure they are all OK.

Bex sent me a tx saying they were having a fantastic holiday, and so far they are not having any problems with the weather, she knows there is a few bad days forecast and I am sure everyone will be fine.
