Hi
I have just got back from florida and have been a couple of times.
I know a couple of people that have been in September and it is there hurricane season but dont worry, it will still be hot and if you do have bad weather it doesnt last very long!
When it comes to food everything is really cheap at least half the price of in England.
Make sure you pick up some coupon booklets, you can get these anywhere in florida, they are really good as they give you at least 10% off everything.
Hope this has helped!

Hi their can't help with the weather. We have just come back today from florida. we eat out every night it was so cheap. Most places are cheap The main buffet ones that i would recomend would be the golden coral here you get all you can eat bfast for $7.99 this includes drinks and they have everything you could ever want. Even cake and ice cream and pizza yes i know for breakfast. They also do Dinner for $11.99 again drinks are included they have every thing steak etc great value.

TGI is also very good and chilli's and salt lake. They are all normall menu places so you choose what you want We were normally around $50 for the 3 of us.

Really it depends on what you are looking for

Hi there

I have been to florida 6 times.

I have undernoted the best places to go and see and Eat:-

Chillis, TGIs, Outback (get a bloomin onion) absolutely lovely
Gaylord Palms Hotel (villa de flora) gorgeous buffet themed

Premium OUtlets, Florida Mall and Mall at Millenia ( if you go to Millenia eat at the Cheesecake factory)

You will have a fab time the beaches to go to are: Passe a grille just head for tampa sat nav very useful as have been lost there quite alot!! LOL

If you are hiring a car go for the smallest and upgrade when u arrive.

Publix and Walmart are the best places to shop if you are in a villa or self catering.

Hope this helps and enjoy

Returned two weeks ago from Florida it was averaging a 108 -110f and very humid, we had a few good storms, but they pass very quickly. You won't starve there that is for sure.

Would definitely get the sat nav, by day 3 we had a name for ours, '**** betty' because it was her fault we kept getting lost :-lol

Having been there last year around the same time, you should expect some pretty nice weather. Not too hot or cold, perfect time to go in my opinion!x

Weather is likely to be hot and still humid - don't pack too much clothes - especially if your hotel or accommodation has washing facilities - everyone is dressed really casually, although a light sweater or wrap is handy as the air conditioning can be almost too much at times! You will find plenty of places to eat, one of our budget favourites is the Ponderosa or the Outback Steakhouses are also very nice. The coupon books will have coupons for most restaurants - be sure to use them! Stay well clear of the discount camera shops - I Drive in particular - some have totally inflated prices. Apart from that you will have a great holiday - if you are going to the parks they probably be a little quieter in September but still the trick is to go as early as you can, get the big rides done in the morning and then you might have time to go back again later on to do them a second time!- The Toy Story ride in Hollywood is a great new addition. Take advantage of the Fastpass system in Disney, it is free. Universal is also very good - both equally worth their entrance fee. Enjoy!
