Fuerteventura Fiesta Corralejo Garden Apts

Postby fun in the sun on Fri Apr 04, 2008 6:03 pm

It's about 4 years ago since i stayed there, but we had a great time. The apartments are about 10mins walk from the main nightlife, but there are some small bars on the way down.

Olivia beach is well worth a visit, if you like beaches, a day trip over to lanzarote is also good.If you drive car hire is fantastic and the roads are not that busy.

Hope you have a great time.

Fuerteventura Fiesta Corralejo Garden Apts

I was last in Corralejo in 2002 with my family we found it nice but a bit too windy at times, even managed to get sunburnt swimming in the sea? couldnt bend my legs for days as whilst I was swimming in the sea the sun must have been beaming through the water and burnt all the back of them both.
There was a trampoline place for the kids near some of the restaurants, and like the last poster said , the beach near the Olivia Complex is gorgeous, but watch out for the naked Germans which just appear from nowhere ! Also watch the resturants round there too we went in one called a particular ladies name and they tried to rip us off, but i told them to correct it, which they did.
Apart from that the rest of the holiday was ok.
You can get the ferry over to lanz or go on a boat trip from the marina .
There is a waterpark now too which my realtives told me about when they came back from there a year or two ago.
