Where to stay????

We are a family of 5 including 3 kids under 12 and have never been to the canaries before so have no idea where to stay.
We would like nice relaxing holiday near beaches and restaurants but don't really want a noisy resort at night.
Would like S/c apts,nice pools, kids play area etc not necessarily kids clubs tho'
Any ideas anybody???
Fancy Fuerteventura,maybe Correjelo???

Correjelo is a great place to stay with kids there is the new waterpark, the trampoline/bouncy castle place , the sand dunes and the beautiful beach by the olivia complex.
We stayed at the Lobos Bahia apartments when we were last there in 2002 they were four stars then but have gone down to three now, it was alright when we stayed there in 2002, not sure about now though, there is a lot of newer apartments been built since then.
If you go be careful not to get burnt as the wind can make it seem cold at times but it can still burn you as i found out.
There is some beautiful beaches in Fuerteventura.
