Come on England

England go to Portugal tonight with no Ferdinand or Campbell but with what looks like a first eleven - a great test for the new stadium at Loule/Faro and for the organisational skills of the Portuguese prior to Euro 2004.

Anyway I love Portugal, am going there twice this year and to Goa (an ex portuguese colony!!!) but this is what I say

Come on England !

Now there is a debate to be had!!!!!! I am English first, then British, then European, can I ask what your reason is for supporting any team that is playing against England whilst the English are happy to see Scotland, Wales and Ireland (North and South) do well or win in any competition (as lon as they haven't beaten us to do it!!!) ?????

Anyway, that is a question that I have always wanted to ask, what's the downer on England about? Especially as we don't have one on you??

Lol, it's a long standing joke, that the other home nations support two teams; whoever their home country are playing and whoever is playing England.

In all seriousness, it's mostly a media thing. I actually wanted England to win the World Cup last year, and was shouting for them in the final. However if I see or hear Wilko's drop goal again......

And I consider myself Scottish, and British equally, and European when trying to order two beers in Germany....;)

Lampard played like a star and of course Ledley King is our new hero, they can keep him in as long as we do not lose Sol - 1-1 is a fair result - that was an amzing free kick - anyway only a friendly!!

Shall sign off now a somewhat drunk !!!!

So, any predictions? I'm thinking it'll probably be a draw, 2-2.
