Horrendous. Power cuts, wheelie bin chasing, (although that was quite funny) Sky TV on the blink. Laughing my socks off walking to school, with the nipper clinging to me for dear life! Sidewards Rain...yuk!
Today however, beautiful blues skies and not a cloud or gust in sight.
Oh the great British weather.
When is my holiday? hmm...

As a frequent flyer out off and into Edinburgh the landings over the last few weeks have been "interesting". Ranging from mildly wild to realy wild and on one occasion, pre Christmas, in the words of the Average White band -" Lets go round again" Oh-er! I spent the New Year at my parents in Stranraer ( in the deep south west of Scotland) and on Hogmanay (not a Terry Pratchett invented word) or New years eve as you would say in the sunny south, I thought the roof of the house was coming off!! I was reminded why whisky was invented - to stand up to the blasted winds and rain!! Have o good one all the HW readers and writers and roll on the balmy days of summer. PS never mind, 4 mins more sun per day, we'll soon be there - even as the storm starts raging in Edinburgh tonight - again!

Wind now getting up in Suffolk and it's quite cold. Weather forecast is that it's going to get worse.
