| I have always had a wireless network with all the problems that go with them, signal dropout ect.
I have just moved to devolo homeplug AV which use the house's ring main to send the interenet over just plug it into a wall socket. It has to be the most simple network to set up I have ever done. The interenet is faster, no drop out. If somebody is using a laptop and need wireless. I still have my wireless router but the modem is plugged into the router and then the homeplug is connected to the router and the wireless router can still be used for a laptop.
I wondered if these homeplugs could work through the mains electricity wires through the house but I am amazed by them and how good they work.
I recommend them to anybody, I know netgear, dlink and others do home plugs but the devolo are meant to be the best.
This is the cheapest I have seen them for

I want to set up a HomePlug system for three apartment blocks in the Calvia area of Mallorca. I have been told that Telecom will not permit this as it is a community and not owned by one individual. Any advice please

| Doesnt this defeat the object of being " wireless" as it seems that you still have to trail yet another cable and plug from every PC, we run 3 PC,s and a laptop at our house, also how much does it add to your electricity bill ?.
Sorry I am a bit confused by it. :)
