We saw an advert in the Sunday mail magazine offering to buy points. We thought it was a answer to our prayers as my husband has heart problems and cannot fly. We arrived in Edinburgh at Centrum House on 25th May, 2008 believing that this company were willing to buy Club Infiniti Points. Well, we were offered 13,500 for our points but only on a reclaim certificate which wouldn't materialise until 51 months from hence and only then if we met all the strict guidelines like not missing days or sending too early and then at only 6% to 100%. We were then told we had to pay over 7,000 for the company to cover themselves as they said they weren't a charity . We were then told that we would reclaim that 7,000 plus at the same time as our 13,500!!!! It didn't say on the original advert that they were a holiday club and not until I was putting my payment through,( not even there) they told my husband (not very clearly) that we were now members of Designer World Vacation Club, for five years and that we were not allowed the 7 days cooling off period as we had signed all this in the office. Maybe we were a bit niaeve but we honestly didn't want to be a member of another club and had no intention of doing so. There were also two of them constantly baraging both of us for over 4 hours. It was horrendous. Then they got somebody to phone on Monday welcoming us to the holiday club which we didn't even want.
