| It's so STRESSFUL booking a holiday
They say it's a time for play?
Yeah right I say
I often wish it were far cheaper to book a stay!
I search online for destinations
Even ones I can reach via the local train station
No where I can find
Suits anyone in mind!!
My daughter wants to go to Nice
My son wants to go Greece
I quite fancy the historic city of Venice
Whilst my husband just wants some Peace!!
We pop down to the local travel agent
And tell her we fancy anywhere where there isn't a tent
She tells us she recommends Rome
She even told us that there she has her second home!!
So gathering around the family that night
Keeping my fingers crossed I don't cause a fight
And show everyone what I have in mind
Hoping that they will be kind
My son nods
My daughter nods
My husband doesn't care
Now all I have to do is sort out the airfare!!
So, all the stress begins again
As I try to find a flight
That doesn't cost a lot
All this to feel a bit hot!!
So they say booking a holiday is fun!
Well I feel that must be a pun
As all it has caused us
Is a lot of stress!!
