I shaved my head.
Bought some 4.99 clippers from argos and it ripped patches of my hair out instead of shaving. In the end i had to get it all shaved off professionally to a grade 1 so the bald patches would go.
Idiot.

Oh Dear me John what a pickle, it wont take long for it to grow back, two weeks and you will have a full head of hair back, but I bet you shave it off again.

It's still a bit breezy here today. Cold in the shade, but quite warm in the sun.
I have a meeting to go to tonight, so it will be late on here, If I make it.
These meetings can go on a long time, people bringing up all sorts of petty things.
Our club, like many others, is having a hard time surviving since the smoking ban.
In our town, one of the biggest and oldest clubs has announced it's closing in July after nearly 100 years, it's a miners club. Since the smoking ban they've seen a drop in takings of 1000 a week.

Its been a bit dull here we have just had a shower but now its trying to getting sunny again. I hope that wasnt our summer we had in the last few days eh! Longest day is 21st then days get shorter just thought I would make you all feel gloomy.
Ron my hubbys club is struggling even though they provide a smoking place in the garden. I think a lot has to do with the cheap booze from supermarkets people rather drink in the house and take turns going to other friends houses, just like America does

In Wales alone 364 pubs have closed and 65 social clubs have closed sine the smoking ban. It's reckoned that it's put 2000 bar staff out of work in Wales alone.
This government can be satisfied with themsleves for that. They want the revenue from smokers and if they don't get it, it's got to come from Petrol, as simple as that. Every time petrol goes up, the government are happy because their per centage goes up too.
They could take 20% tax off petrol and put it on gambling, If a punter can afford to put 2 on a horse/dog etc they can afford to pay b2.40 and that woulod more than bring in the Billions they would lose if we all packed in smoking.
