| as not to highjack other peoples threads i have opened this thread with all relevent posts, thank you tenpin and dan for your replies but i am very confused how a member with nearly 100 posts can have them all deleted and yet still be on the forum with the same name and avvy with 1 post as if a new member.

very strange porkie.on the park resorts thread you had over 70 posts and on checking they are all gone and the thread is locked, and yet you are on here with 1 post as a new member.
it doesnt show openess and honesty when threads are doctored, there seems to be some nasty deeds being performed here, not good for HW at all, whats happened to honesty and integrity, are we going down the route of other holiday forums,"i hope not". ;-(

It was close to 100 posts Tom, and they have all gone. Readers can draw their own conclusions, Does not promote this site well....shame.

For the two above posts.
The Parkdean thread was closed mainly because it was getting away from the original post and in some posts getting personal towards other members, HW has the right to close any thread which breaks this sites posting guidelines.
This was not taken lightly but after long discussion by both ourselves (moderators) and the owners of the site.
This is one of the friendliest sites and we wish it to remain so, you can have a voice on all holiday related matters but please keep it factual.
As far as I am aware Tom, the posts are removed from a members name once a thread is closed. I maybe wrong on that. It may just mean a slight name change.

Why's everyone else's posts still there then?
Moderator reply.

But so far it's not showing it's our fault.

Hi,
We're looking into this as we speak. In the meantime, Holiday Watchdog does have a General Chat forum, so please keep this discussion on topic. Let's not inadvertently hijack another person's thread.
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Tom,
This is really strange as you say all his posts are gone, but name seems the same. Beyond my limited knowledge.

thread, but cofused how can one persons posts disappear, we have had closed threads before and no one has lost anything, is this something we should be worried about do you think?

| thanks for the reply john, porkie joined on the 13 june and i read the thread with great interest but why someone posts nearly 100 times and then 3 days later has them all removed is beyond me.
its a shame they were removed because now the thread is unreadible in places because of the missing posts,i personally dont think posts should be removed once posted,it gives the impresion of secret dealings and is not good for the integrity of the forum.

| Legal complications sometimes force posts to be removed for the benefit and good standing of HW tom so we have to comply
