| Hello
We are travelling to Goa with three children (2,4&6yrs). We have been before but not with kids. Does anyone have any advice about what we should take with us, what we should and shouldn't do? anything at all really as I am slightly worried now.
Thanks for looking

| Hi when are you travelling to goa?my friends are there now with two kids, age 10 and 11,and this is there third trip to goa.the kids love it.there are no set rules as my friends find everything they need in goa for the kids needs.the sea is too rough for swimming at certain times ,so kids need supervision at all times.beaches are safe, shacks are fine, like anywhere, just use good judgement with regards to the kids .the beach shack on calungute beach, near goa heritage, called toms place will look after you well, and keep the kids entertained too.just up from the beach is navindra restaurant, they to are very good for you and the kids.as you have been before you will know of the beachbbq s and partys, but march and april are not as busy, better that way.always afew familys about,.if you get upset stomachs or anything, the local chemist have got everything you would need, and look after you very well, and very cheap too. Only 9 weeks before our holiday in Calungute, Have a great holiday, and dont be put off by hearsay. ==== Sandra and Dennis ====

| Everything will be fine, the only thing to worry about is the taxis, 3 wheelers and shopping. They will try , and most likely will succed in over charging you on everything. The best thing to do is ask someone to get abn idea on what it should cost for travel and as for shopping , well, you should pay well below half of the asking price.
Better still try fixed price stores and even then try walking away after making an offer and if they dont come after you you know the price is fair.
Good luck
