| Please can anyone advise me which is best beach shack to use on Candolim beach near sunset beach hotel that doesn't charge for sunbeds and good food?

| Visit Ganesh's shack, on to the beach from the sunset, turn immediatley left down the matting, and his shack is there. Great bloke, nice food, cant do enough for you. we have been using his shack for years now.

| Is Philomeenas beach shack still there, she was the daughter but her mother did the cooking? She was a little thin girl who loved to talk to everyone as they all do. She went on to be a beautician the last I heard of her.
her home was a portugese house just behind the beach it was massive we were invited for lunch with her family one day it was brill

| we used Joystons shack on the calangute/candolim border,great shack great food and lovely owners,and far too cheap hehe,they too cant do enough for you,cant wait to see them again not long now,november.

| Anyone heard of the shack called "Wetherspoons" somewhere around the Baga/Calangute area?
Not sure if its actaully called this or whether this was a local nickname?

| hi there folks
how far is ganesh shack from silver sands hotel please, as we used his shack in february but stayed at sunset beach then. We are returning next january 2009 and wondered if its a long way from silver sands.
Or is there another very good shack with good food nearer that you can recommend please
