we stayed at resorte de tio carmino in calangute.we stayed there last time we were in goa and we returned because of its location.we wish we hadnt!the barmen were as miserable as ever we had things stolen from our room and when we reported it to the manager we were treated like criminals!we will not be going back.i had an accident on kola beach which meant i was in bed for three days at the hotel and after that i couldnt walk further than reception for nearly a week.there was no offer of help,no offer of swoping rooms(as ours was upstairs)before we first went to this hotel 2 years ago we were warned by lots of people that it wasnt a good hotel but we thought we'd prefer to find out for ourselves.it wasnt as bad as people said it was but this time it was and then some.we met several people there that we had met previously who all agreed the hotel was slipping downhill rapidly.during the last week of the holiday we met 2 older couples who had used tio carmino for nearly 10 years but said over the laste 3 years or so,it had rapidly declined in service and clenliness and now they stay elsewhere.i was led to belive that most 3 star hotels were more like 2 starr hotels in goa,i was seriously mislead.we viewed two 3 star hotels while we were there and we were absolutely gutted with our chooice of tio carmino.but oh well nevermind we learnt our lesson.

Has anyone stayed at Nizmar Hotel Calangute? We are off to Canada this year but are hopeing to go back to Goa next year.We've heard its a good hotel,can anyone help with a review?
