| Hello,
I would like to inform Holiday Watchdog of a scam that is happening in Goa. I have unfortunally have had this happen to me.
Its involves a travel agency called Great Value Holidays based in Panjim and in Calangute, Goa.
I booked a hotel in Delhi for 2 nights with an airport pickup as I was arriving last at night.
I was charged 13000 rupees in total. When I got to Delhi airport there was no pickup. When I got to the hotel I was informed that I should have been charged a maximum of 6000 for the two nights.
When I arrived back to Goa I told the manager who threatened me if I brought it any further. His exact words were 'I would be in trouble if I brought this matter further'!!
I am shocked by this, the manager, I wont give a name, is very threathing and started to make me feel as if I could be in danger.
I will report this to the local police also.
So this I feel is so important that if any traveler books tickets or hotels at this place do not complain to the manager as he is quite abusive man.
Be careful out there!!
