| i always found this a very weird subject, abd it completely depends on the service, but for every Rs. 100 i give a 10 Rs tip - its 10% in most countries. you have to remember that although it isn't a lot of money to us - it's all relative to Goan waiters etc. Also you have to remember that it can be quite patronising to give too much as a tip.
what i find is that the Goan people love western clothes so maybe tip your favourite restaurant waiter or shack owner/worker with a FCUK t-shirt or similar on your last night as they love parading these around to their friends.
My ex-boyfriend was from Goa and that's what people used to do to him and his mates and they loved it!
