| Hi, we were in Goa last Christmas and it was lovely.The Marinha Dourada Hotel put on a big party for Xmas Eve - we even had Father Christmas sailing across the lake!!. The food and the music were great. Some of the other hotels had firework displays, which we could see from MDH. There are christmas lights strung up everywhere - even the poorest houses/shacks had lights!. We didn't stay for New year but we were told that it gets REALLY busy - especially at Baga Beach and the roads are almost impassable with all the traffic. The weather was good - not too hot.

| Ihave heard its brilliant out there at Christmas/New Year.
Wish I was there as this country is getting 1)Expensive for NY and 2)It wont be raining!!!
