| Having booked a holiday with the above company, for the first time and last. I was this morning advised by the cruise company P&O that my booking had been cancelled. It appears that following a discussion with 1st4cruising about the possible transfer of the holiday to another cruise they assumed I would book the alternative cruise and cancelled my original booking. Given the original booking was for a christmas 2008 cruise aboard Aurora for which there is a significant waitlist I am somewhat angry. Fortunately P&O were able to reinstate the original booking as the cancellation had bnot been actioned as the alternative 1st4cruising were seeking did not become available until today 24th April. Had i not spoken to P&O about another matter I would by close of business today lost the Christmas cruise.
The response from 1st4cruising, oh! sorry we assumed you wished to transfer. They had in their possession an email stating that any transfer was subject to confirmation by me after the new booking was made. they have now completly washed their hands of any responsibility. Needless to say I will not book with them again.
