Just a quick question as I,m not that hot on all this tech stuff, but when you click onto 'currently active users' on the forum hompage it shows you how many guests and all that.who on line and where they are...that bit I get.
The question is...'what the hell are google and yahoo spiders'???? Hope I got that right.

LOL,
spiders or 'bots' are the scripts used by the search engines to go sniffing around the internet to create their index. Every page they visit they make a note of what it's all about, and if someone searches for something similar, it lists that page in the results for that search term.
Personally a little scared of the real thing, but we do like these ones!
