| Hi,
Never been to Tunisia before, booked to go to Hammamet in April Via Direct holidays, they have just changed our hotel to the hotel Miramar, does anyone have any feedback on this hotel, also any advice as to the best currency to take would be appreciated.

| hi mate i seem to be in the same boat as you got our hotel changed to the miramar just a few weeks ago so trying to find any info i can if i find any will let u know....

Ive been checking out various websites & had conflicting reviews, the last 2 iv` seen were from Jan/Feb 2006 & were quite good, although I also saw a few from 2004 that were really bad, so here`s hoping it has improved as it seems in 2006.
What dates are you going? Im taking the wife & tribe but maybe we could go for a beer?

flyin out from birmingham on 16th of april, also had hotel changed form tour operater,going for two weeks, if u go to http://www.alpharooms.com/guide/tunisia/hammamet/listings/weather/default.aspx This will give you the weather for a 5 day forecast....... need to meet up if that ok... only me and the wife going no KIDS going 4 a change...

Sorry to bug you again, but have just been to travel agent and got some info on currency............. Been advised only to take sterling travellers cheques, As its a closed country and you cant get any currency over here...

| :thumleft: :occasion1 We are going on the 9th so should have sorted out the decent bars. how about we meet in reception on 17th about 12ish, my name is Neil by the way, I will probably have the wife & wids in tow but, they are no trouble (generally)
