Hi,
A while since you asked so maybe too late for you. But 5 years ago I stayed at the Ohana Waikiki Surf on Kuhio Avenue in Waikiki. From what I can remember it wasn't bad - good location for beach, buses, etc. Seem to remember that the air con was noisy!
Don't know if that helps.

Quite a few hotels listed in our Hawaii / Honolulu section

Hawaii is an amazing trip. I recommend climbing Diamond Head crater for a great view of Honolulu.

Hi Nick123jedi,
I got married on 02.05.07 and had my honeymoon in Hawaii. I personally have been several times but my husband hadnt. It is my absolute favourite place and I have been luck enough to have travelled quite a bit. It is heaven, paradise for me. Can only recommend it and think everyone should go at least once in their lifetime. I own timeshare so it was inexpensive and pretty much only paid for the flights.

If you stay in Wakiki make sure you at least spend 1 day travelling around the island. If you can, get a flight to at another island for at least a day . Maui or The Big Island. So many beautiful beaches and scenery to see incuding the lava flows on the Big Island, Seven Pools of Hana on Maui, China man's hat on Oahu.
Try a helicopter flight around Oahu.
