| Has anyone else experienced problems getting a reply from Head Office? I wrote complaining about cleaning issues at Weymouth Bay holiday park and I had a message left on my answer phone stating that I would get a reply in 28 days. I phoned head office 3 times, each time a recorded message informed me that all lines were busy. When I did get through I was told by quite a rude man that it was 28 working days before I can expect to hear anything from them.

| this is the way haven works, you may get a letter if you are lucky and they will tell you that the problem will be looked into and that they will review it at staff training

| Have just returned from Haven at Filey and one word sums it up - disgusting! I'm writing to Head Office but, from what I've heard and read, I'm unlikely to get anything more than a free upgrade when I book again - hell would freeze over before I'd book with Haven again!!

| Both Haven and Park Resorts have the same problem. They are like ghettos. They prefer to sell holiday homes rather than provide genuine holidaymakers with a fun-packed, clean, safe holiday. Many of the people who own the homes visit regularly, know each other and their teenage (and younger) children prowl in gangs. How intimidating is that. Its like holidaying in an inner-city.

| Primrose valley park was a run down sh*thole when we went. Makes butlins look fantastic! Felt very unsafe to walk around at and also stunk. Your feet stuck to the floor in the bar area, which hadnt looked like it had been decorated at all. Id rather go to butlins anyday, and for the price of what they charge..id rather go abroad! For the price of some holidays there, i could do a cruise for a week!

| Constructive criticism..how ironic. Its not like you'll do anything about it regardless of what people say. Theres not enough people who actually complain to the companies who we have a problem with, hence why nothing is ever done. Lets be honest, its about the company's annual turnover increasing as much as possible, not how happy we actually are when we are there and spending our hard earned cash that accumilates into the haven bank account.

| Hi All,
Just thought I'd warn those people that booked a holiday directly on Haven Holidays website last year prior to the release of the new 2008 brochure that the time advertised to check in was different on the website to the time showing on the holiday confirmation by an hour.
It's probably best to double check your confirmation if you have done this. My Sister was told it's due to the cleaning issues that the park experienced last year.
Not sure if it's just Weymouth Bay or the others as well. So beware!

| In 2005-6 we used the Haven Seashore site in Great Yarmouth, Fantastic! Clean, with good facilities and excellent night entertainment.
This is a management Problem!!
2007 was completely different. Dirty, facilities closed, entertainment poor, foul beer!!!
It is hard to build a reputation of excellence but very easy to lose it, as Haven have found. Many reviews in 2007 reflected this.
With the economic climate it is easy to let standards slip in the name of profit but in the long run it does not take a genius to know “Haven will have No business” if standards do not rise.
Sorry, but I will not be willing to take the gamble, I will use elsewhere.

| Hi ,Just read the reviews and thread has been removed on the many issues owners have with Park Resorts/Haven.This was also a place that owners could get some advice.it took an employee to put a gagging on the forum so that alone speaks volumes.OMGs attitude and name calling was typical of management.I know all about customer Skills haveing been in Social Work until retiring and with my hard earned cash pay off ,I was able to buy my caravan. If I had talked to Owners or Read these Forums it would have been a different story, but like most I am in it and will not throw my money away. What I will do is continue to get the Services I was assured to get and if I don,t then I will persue a complaint until I get a Fair Result. I always approach the Gm on park if no result then I go to the Top.I have sent my complaints Registered letter and always get a reply. So don,t be put off by the likes of OGM BECAUSE AS PROVED they will find a way to Gag you and brush your complaints under the carpet. No doubt OGM IS tHE Man of the Moment, pat on the back even promotion God Forbid. But the mighty do fall I enjoy my Holiday Home and fellow Owners.

| I regret to inform you of an incident at your haggerston castle holiday park, involving aftersales. we went to ask him about unknown charges to our account eg £87 repairs. He told us with the worst attitude ever as he always greets us with "it was a broken shower mixer" knowing full well your maintenance team had broken our shower mixer in Novemeber 07 and we had repleced it ourselves we just could not believe our ears so i replied you are f**ing having a laugh as i considered he was taking the complete mickey because he never even checked the system then he replied very aggressively towards myself with my girlfriends 6 yr old daughter watching that if i didnt leave his office he was going to remove me himself so i left immediately, he then proceeded to follow me and said if i returned he would put me on my ass and his colleagues had to restrain him as i walked out of the door, outside another member of sales heard what he had said to me and asked us what the problem was, he then took over the complaint and looked on the system and found that the charge was for a new pullout bed. aftersales spoke to my girlfriend inside and told her it had been smashed to bits she knew full well this was not true and asked to see the old bed then sales made some swift enquiries and found out the charge was an error and immediately refunded our account i have instructed my girlfriend to take full responsibility of the sale of the caravan and i will not be returning to any haven parks in the future also i will be instructing my friends and family who live all over the uk and use haven parks to take the same action I have also reported this incident to the police

| hi, we have had 2 holidays with haven this year, a weekend at wild duck norfolk which we go to regularly, and a week at craig tara for the first time in 8 years we have had to complain twice, we got a reply twice but so far all wev been offered is an upgrade but my husband wont holiday with haven again, and wev already been away twice this year so thats useless i will be writing again after the appaling way wev been treated twice this year i expect more than an upgrade, i agree with others on this forum haven have gone completely down hill, and whats with the new grades of caravan! at both camps the staff were ok, at wild duck our complaint wasnt dealt with but at craig tara they did deal with our complaint but we still had to stay in a caravan which was so sub standard no one should be staying in it and we wasted another day while they got another ready. we have an autistic daughter so look forward to our holidays, haven have let us down twice and dont seem to give two hoots, but i am determined to continue complaining, i want compensating for their shoddy treatment of us the holiday maker, il let you know how i get on!

| Hope you get a reply within 21 days!!! it's also worth noting that although Head office tell you to send letters recorded delivery they do not refund the extra cost!
