Thanks for the advice must admit were having second thoughts about buying a caravan!!!!!! It's not the caravan thats the problem it's the horrendous site fees.

i have had 2 parkdean breaks this year. first was to torquay, the park was very small and too far from the sea, but the entertainment was good and the site and caravan spotless. this was for myself and husband in our 50's son and wife in their 30's and a grandchild aged 9. the second break was last month to trecco bay in wales, again myself and huband, daughter and 3 grandchildren aged 7,10 and 11. this was fantastic and i cannot say any of us had any complaints at all the site is great and facilities superb direct beach access, best of all was the swimming pool all of us enjoyed using it.

Parkdean stand for quality and value basically. Not like Park Resorts or Haven where they are constantly trying to sell you caravans
Went to Treeco Bay and Sandford with them. Great! Will be going with Parkdean again possibly to Cherry Tree

we have been going to trecco bay for 8 yrs. it is a place for children my children love it. While I must say the entertainment is fantastic at night they really do go to town on the entertainment. Even though it is a long drive from Manchester I have to say it is a must and well worth its money. (wasnt keen on the one in cornwall).I am sure we will be going for many more yrs to come I just hope the prices dont rise as they are spending alot of money on the site. And I would like to see jungle jims have a face lift.

Hi Sharon
We went to Trecco last year on reccomendations from friends. We were very lucky to have gone after they had invested. We went in the Easter Holidays in 2008 and everything was newly refurbished!
Sadly they hadent finished the wet play area and crazy golf but it was near finished and looked great
The caravan we had was named Coity. It was new for 09 so it was only used twice before we arrived so it was great! Very clean and warm
The swimming pool is great. Very clean and well supervised with a water play area and flume. Very nice. Theres also a new outdoor wet play area which looks good. That will be open when you go in July
Cafes and Bars great and reasonably priced. Good for eating a drinking in
The Play Area was new I think and was quite good and can be well supervised by yourself from the outdoor decking while you have a drink or two!!
Entertainment was very good and the beach is alright for a walk along
Overall the park is a very well kept park with everything you could possibly need. Im sure youll have a great time

Many years ago in my young days, i worked for both Haven and Parkdean camps. Although they business model is the same, i found that Parkdean were far superior in both quality and clientelle - no disrespect to anyone who uses haven! But when i was at haven it was full of the £10 sun special deals - something that was not present at parkdean sites, which made for a nicer environment.
Parkdean sites also seem cleaner, and more modern with better amenities such as ski slopes etc. Just an insiders view!
