I can only assume it is :( (just like to point out that the photos were taken before I bleached and disinfected the chalet)

Please don't post reviews in the main forums.

They need to submitted to our main site for the benefit of all of our members.

Apologies for that Ian, I hadn't originally meant it as a review and was venting really but I have used most of the text from my original post for it so hopefully it well help someone out.

Thanks all for the kind words of support, I'll update when (if) I hear back from them.

Oh my god that is absolutely disgusting.

i'll have a look around and find some contacts for you.

i dont work for pontins, i just saw those photos.

get an N1 fromd from the court online and fill it in to take them to court. there is also an information sheet that goes with it.

As stated on their website:

"Write to us - If you wish to contact us about any aspect of your holiday, please write to:

Guest Relations
Pontin's Ltd.
Ainsdale House
Shore Road
Ainsdale-On-Sea
Southport
PR8 2PZ"

But make sure you tell them you WILL take them to court for damages and bad experience. Tell them vouchers will not be tolerated. I'd print the photos off too, and send them a copy. That will open their eyes.

Hi further to your above horror story-the contact tlelphone number for Sefton Council which is the borough where Pontins is situated is 0151 922 4040. This takes you through to Sefton Councils main switchboard-give them a ring and get the enviromental health to go out to Pontins.
Hope this helps

in your letter to pontins including the copies of the photographs, also send them a copy of the letter you sent to the environmental health about the place...

you could also suggest that if they do not reply within 14 days of receipt of your letter, you will seek media attention. this usually does work - i'm applying to sue someone myself, which is how i came to know about it...

if they dont, you could also write to the bbc with your photos and they could do anoher panorama on it - i think there is a holidays from hell series ever 2 years or so. try it all and see what works. you cant lose anything.

if you did end up going to court for a full refund plus damages and expenses, you can apply for a free legal support through legal-aid, which works with the citizens advice bureau.

try calling them, and ask for some advice.

I'm all for justice. What happened to you, just isnt fair.
