| Video Reviews!
The next big thing on Holiday Watchdog! As well as written reviews, you'll soon be able to add video clips of your holiday accommodation. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so imagine how useful a video clip will be.
As most people now have digital cameras capable of recording short clips, or video cameras for recording those special holiday moments, it makes sense to use the technology available to us.
If you're heading off on holiday this year, please remember to take a few clips of your hotel/apartments, your room and communal areas (pool, dining areas, gardens etc.). As with written reviews, we want your video reviews if your holiday was good, bad or just ordinary! Sharing your reviews is what makes the site work!

| In addition to clips from digital and video cameras, we can use clips from your mobiles too. Now there's no excuse when you go on your hols this year!
We'll post full instructions on how to add your clips when the online form is up and running.
Our original thought is to allow users to post a review as normal and then upload a clip or clips at the end of the process. Any thoughts or questions?

| You can now submit video clips as part of adding a review. After completing the written part of your review, you can choose to continue to the video upload page.
Full instructions are given to make it as easy as possible. If you'd like to try it, add a review with "Video Test" as the Accommodation name, and then try uploading a video file (we'll just delete the files, but it let's you try out the uploading, and provide some feedback!).
To add a video clip you must be logged in as a member, unlike normal reviews where anyone can submit.
Based on the feedack we get we'll build a page dedicated to explaining the whole process to make it all very easy.
I'll stop now before the geek inside takes over me completely!

| Just posted my first thread and wanted to add video clip from camera. trouble is the clip is a mov. file and will not upload...how do i convert it.....HELP!!!!

| Sorry, i should have explained better, i have posted a review and wanted to upload some video footage i took with my stills camera but the formay is a .mov file as opposed to jpeg or gif etc and i was just wondering if posible how to convert the video file over so i can post it.
