| Just to let everyone know that we had a lovely holiday at the Fortuna Beach Hotel in Icmeler in May. We are hoping to go back in September or October for another week's break.
Hotel was really nice, food adequate and as its all inclusive you can always choose to eat out if you want to.
The best meal we had in Icmeler was at the Love Boat. It was excellent and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed our evening there.
The Fortuna Beach is clean, comfortable and handy for all the surrounding amenities. Just down to the beach less that 5 mins. Our the front door of hotel turn right and just down a bit is the beach. What more could you want.
The hotel has a small but adequate swimming pool to cool off in if you are sunbathing by the pool. Cold drinks are served all day long.
Something to suit everyone this hotel and as I say the change the food choices daily and there are lots of salad accompaniements and plenty for all to choose from.
We also ate out at the Taj Mahal in Marmaris which I was really looking forward to but I was very disappointed in it this year. It has changed decor since I was last in Turkey and the ambience has been lost. It just wasnt the same. The food was still nice but not as good as I had remembered it had definitely changed with the new decor and change to how it used to be.
Still the same friendly doorman.
All in all Fortuna Beach was a good hotel and we are choosing to go back to this hotel later in the year.
Hope this helps people who are looking for accommodation in Turkey. Good all round hotel.
The best thing about it is the people they have working for them. They are all so friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much bother. They work so hard from morning to night. I hope the management appreciate that it is these hard working young Turkish people that make people want to go back to their hotel. They were all lovely people.
Worth a visit.
