| am after to see if there is any gay clubs or pubs in turkey or icmeler
or am i exp to much if there is any or things going off where is the best place to go

I don't think there are any, I don't think there any in Turkey at all. But you wont get any trouble, I go with my partner and we never get any hassle.

There are no gay pubs in Icmeler or Marmaris. However, there are a lot of gays holidaying in Turkey, all made very welcome and we have quite a number of gays who come in to us regularly. They all love Turkey!

| My partner and I love it, we went twice last year, and going again in June, and will prob go again towards back end of the season. You are always made wecome no matter what you are. That's just the Turkish people for you they will go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable.

| Try Captains Bar in Marmaris, take the dolmus mini bus from Icmeler and get off at Gima Point Center which is a shopping centre on your right hand side. Get off the bus and walk towards the beach and Captains is on your left. Its a karaoke bar and taht seems to have a gay crowd. Also Cheers bar is on the other corner and there is usually a small gay crowd i there too. These bars are located in an area called Long Beach which has lots of other bar/clubs too or you could try Bar Street where there is a gay crowd to but no bar is an active gay bar as such. Hope this helps.

I dont think leai is saying they are gay bars, just that he is aware of some gays that hang out there. Of course these bars are for all holidaymakers and not a specific group of holidaymakers.
I dont think it should be deleted from this thread.
I think you may have misunderstood his explanation. I know, because my husband is Turkish and in the past misunderstood each other on a number of occasions!!! With some heated arguments!!! I do speak Turkish, quite well, but again sometimes misunderstand and this can also cause a problem!!

and people when coming turkey someone no giving wrong info
im not against to any bars in turkey
i know in istanbul a gay bar very famous in beyoglu
should be at touristic places as well
any gay or lesbians bar
no problem

| Enca its ok, she just mentioned it seemed to have a few people who were gay in the bars..this is called in english as a 'crowd' ..so i can see where the confusion came from.
