Postby Calster on Sun Aug 21, 2005 12:01 pm

Hi, im callum, i'm going to the Sun apartments in Icmeler in turkey in 10 days!!! and People have been saying that the Apartments are very poor and unclean and is not a nice place to stay, were as others are saying it's brilliant and very relaxing and the people there are nice and helpfull, i have never been in such a confused state of mind. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who has any first hand definte experience or knowlege of these apartments' and if they have, could they post or pm me back. This would really be sooo appreciated' :) as we have a party of 40 staying there and people are getting a little worried and in doubtfull mind due to the feedback of some reviews.

Thankyou.

Hi Calster,

Can't seem to find anything anywhere about "Sun Apartments" in Icmeler.

Is that the full name?

I've moved your question to the Turkey Forum, when CarolG (resident expert on Icmeler) is next in, maybe she will be able to give you some information. :D

You'll have a brilliant time, the Sun Apartments are OK, owned by the mayor of Icmeler, if my memory serves me well, pop in for breakfast at OZZY'S, just round the corner, he does the best breakfast in Icmeler say hello to Richard & all the lads from us. Go on jeep safari a great day, have a brilliant holiday.

I did reply to this post but doesnt seem to have appeared.

There are several Sun Apartments in Icmeler

Sun Apartments which are contracted to My Travel JMC behind the school. Nice apartments, good swimming pool, residential area as long as you dont mind being on a steep hill.

Sun Village Apartments which are situated in the old village about 15 minutes from centre.

Club Sun Village Apartments contracted to Thomsons which are situated about 15 minutes walk from the centre but no hills. Large swimming pool all rooms facing pool.

Gunes (which is Sun in Turkish) Apartments close to the centre of town, small swimming pool, bookings direct is best as the owner inflates prices for agencies.

Hope this helps and have a nice time!
