Transfer Time To Icmeler

Hi

We have been told by the tour company that the transfer time from Dalaman to Icemeler is approx 2 hours. I have since been hearing horror stories that the coach takes about 4 hours as it drops off in Marmaris first!!! Can anyone who has done the transfer tell me roughly how long it takes, as a taxi is looking the better option at the moment!

Unfortunately, you've been told correctly, the transfer time is around 2 hours, and you do drop off at various hotels and apartments in both Marmaris and Icmeler. There's worse news in that you also have a 20 minute 'comfort break' at a roadside cafe and shop complex, both on the way from the airport and on the return journey at the end of your holiday.

I would strongly recommend using a taxi, booked beforehand, or even better, book through the Icmeler Travel Centre. CarolG will advise you of the costs. Believe me, there is nothing worse than all that extra delay in getting to Icmeler, especially if you have a late night flight, with an early morning arrival.

Transfer time depends on the company you book with and how many customers are being transferred.

Some guests have a good transfer with their holiday company (2 hours) and some have a terrible transfer, therefore its pot luck on the day.

We do transfers from the airport and they can be booked through our website. If we have a guest on the same flight and you dont mind sharing we bring the transfer down 10 pounds for each way shared.

we have been to icmeler 2 years on the run and going again this august the transfers we have had about two to two and half hours and you do have the comfort stop,so you can use the loo or buy water buy water off the coach 50p bottle

same for us 2 hrs with a stop off inbetween. take lots of drinks if you can they rip you off in the garge they stop at :mumum:
