Hi,
Just wondered if anybody knows which of these apartments in Icmeler are better, we are taking two 9 year olds for a week in July & these seem to have what they need. Are there any others that are maybe more central that anyone would recommend?
I haven't been to Icmeler for a good few years now & I'm sure its changed quite a lot so any advice would be welcome.
Thanks

Thank you very much for your replies, I have now booked for a week in mid July at the Grand Aquarium as my son deceided that is where he wants to stay (eventually) I was a little worried that its out of town but there seems to be no problem with transport so we'll give it a go.
I have read all the reviews on various sites & it seems that peoples opinions vary according to what they expect. I don't expect paradise, just a nice clean room with decent, polite staff & sunshine with a pool to cool off in. That will ensure that we all have a great holiday. Besides it would probably have cost me almost as much for a week in Blackpool in a small B&B with few, if any amenities & rain virtually guaranteed....lol.
Now I'm off to find the famous Carol G to book a taxi transfer & some much needed days out.

hi just read your question and i think youve chosen the best in icmeler ,they are all good apartments but julian forest is just a bit too far outof centre for me, the club aquarium ive stayed at twice now and will definately be going back its quieter and more layed back but its sister hotel (grand aquarium) has all the entertainment and kids club and allsorts going on during the day and night and the club aquarium has a free shuttle service anytime night or day you just ask reception to take you round its only 2 mins round the corner, but when you want a sedate day its nice to get back to the club aquarium
youll definately enjoy it (read my reviews on this site) 10/10

Hi Julie,
Thanks for the photo's & the benefit of your experience, it sounds great for the kids. I think I would have prefered the quieter Club Aquarium but you know what kids are like, they wanted the one with the most going on. In fact I would have prefered a nice quiet little apartment block with a small pool in the centre but that was never going to happen, maybe in 10 years or so!
From what I've read I will have to get up early to get a sunlounger at the Grand but we are planning a few boat trips & maybe the Jeep Safari, then there's the water park & markets so that won't leave many days to fight for a sunbed....lol
I assume that guests from the Grand can also use the pool at the Club, it would be nice to have a look around & see what its like for next visit, its hard chosing somewhere out of a brochure isn't it.
Thanks again.

Grand Aquarium is fantastic for kids, plenty entertainment. Club Aquarium is the sister hotel and close by but quietier setting with fabulous views over Icmeler.
Julian Forest is too far out although a good accommodation, customers complain about the drinks system (tokens) and prices.

hi there, i've been to both and i would recomend julian forest. theres a water slide and the entertainment team are much better catering for the kids. apartments much bigger as well. only an extra 10-15 min walk to town than the aquarium
