| we are going on an island star cruise in september i have heard it is possible to buy drinks packages on board i would like to hear anybodys opinions on the deal

Anyone who has been on her can correct me if I'm wrong, but do IC even have a drinks package?
But to answer the question above & going by Thomson package of £175 per week, then this will depend on how much you drink.
This price will equate to about 9 pints a day given that it is over 6 days not 7, at £29 per day, ten glasses of wine.
So you can work out yourself how much you are likely to drink.
And before any one corrects me I know Thonson do offer different prices & even free AI upgrades on certain cruises.

| Island cruises do do an upgrade on the island escape but not the star
Its from £149 but not 100% but im sure its due to finish soon

| i might not have read all the iternery right but i myself have just booked my first cruise and the island star had 50% off room upgrades and it was the island escape which did free upgrades to all inclusive b4 a certain date in 2007 if you are going in 2008. i haven't read anything about drink packages(unlees you mean the all inclusive as i have mentioned) if you go on island cruises.com you should the information you need. hope you enjoy your cruise.
