Hi, We are going on the Escape next week, and are on Golden Deck, can anyone tell us if there is much noise. Also what are the inside cabins like on this deck.
Can you get the injection for seasickness as soon as you get on ship.

Hi Winsonic,

In most lower inside cabins you get some noise , midship cabins are worse, however most cruisers find that the slight motion of the ship gives them a good nights rest. Mind you a few after diner drinks also helps. Most cabin are ok, for sleeping in and thats about all you do in them.

Get some wrist bands from Boots, Woolies or most travel counters/ agents or even Tesco's. these are worn round the wrist and will stop all but the worst sea-sickness, if wheather gets really bad, reception normally hands out tablets, or if you are really sick an injection from medical center.

PS. You can also get tablets from chemist, but do tell them if you are on any medication.

We were on Golden deck on the Star, most noise came from our neighbouring cabins with some late night romantic activity, very embarrassing to hear it!!

It depends on what you believe about the wrist bands for sea sickness.
Sturgeon is a good tablet form, you can buy that at boots. Injections are rather expensive on board as is any medical treatment.
