| I'm going on the ship next week (I'm sooo excited) and just want to know if I will need towells for the sunbeds round the pool?

| hi, i hope you enjoy your cruise next week, and i hope you will post plenty of information when you get back. eg whats the laundry prices like,bar prices, and can you take a bottle on board bought a shore back to your cabin to have a night cap. as we are going on a 3 week cruise, thanks

| On the Island Escape in May there were yellow pool towels provided. The other towels in the bathroom were white. However, if you have a number of days on board sunbathing, you will probably return to the cabin after the laundry change so your pool towels may have to last a couple of days. If you go off for the day sightseeing then leave the towels with the others in the bathroom and they will be changed.

| I've just returned from my cruise (I'll write a review later, I started writing a very indepth review and my computer crashed and I lost it. aarrgh!!) and they did provide pool towels on the Island Star. Just like the reply above this, they were yellow towells specifically for the pool area.
Thelandlday - the bar prices were £2.40 for a pint of stella, and the same for a can of fosters. we only drink lager so I didnt notice things like cider or bitter or spirits, but cocktails were about £3.00. Soft drinks were quite expensive, we mainly drank ice water from the beachcomber restaurant as they were free all day and night.
I'm sorry but I couldn't find the laundry prices.
