Hi the straight answer is no, by using an iron it is a fire risk which affects every passenger and crew on board. ok maybe, just maybe you will not short out your iron, you will make sure it is switched off, and it's not hot when you put it away, but maybe you won't.
When packing, roll up clothes rather than packing them flat, select things that resist creasing, do hang any creased dresses & jackets up in the bathroom while having a shower, creases will fall out.
Plus having things washed and ironed on board is fairly cheap, not expensive, my white tux cost £4 to have cleaned and pressed after spilling a glass of beer over it, a bag of washing was less than a tenner.
Have a great cruise and stop worrying about saving a few quid, you'll have a better time.
